Goal Setting in 2010, Do You Have Yours Set?

Every year during the kids Christmas break I sit down and evaluate the past years goals. I look at whether I attained them or not, how I did or why I did not. I then further my evaluation by weeding out what has not been working and either eliminating it all together or changing it up and setting new goals.

I don’t know about you but I also do mini evals. throughout the year and adjust where I think necessary. I did have to make a decision this year before my goal setting takes place on keeping a domain name and site that just wasn’t doing as well as I had hoped for the year.  I decided to keep it, with much encouragement and decided to put a spin on what it was being used for and hope to have it finished by the time I start  2010′s goal setting.

I remember when I first started out back in 2001 and for the first year and a half I really had no idea how important goal setting was and really let myself down with not really putting enough effort into that. When I really put forth the effort to set reachable goals, a bunch of mini goals to reach the bigger goals, I noticed something amazing! I noticed I was starting to make some money. Setting Goals are very important not just for business but personally as well. This year I am focusing more on the personal too. With the health issues from being overweight mount in my family I must really start focusing on my fitness which I have let go some. Not completely off track but because I was more leanent with myself and focused more on the business I noticed an increase in weight by 10 lbs and sluggishness.

I will be sharing my goals here on my blog will you be sharing yours?

I am DEFINITELY a Goal Setter. I set my financial goals yesterday and next will be my marketing and projects to make it all happen. Best wishes to your 2010.

  2. Ronny Says:

I write down my goals in a 2010 goals booklet. It is always in my wallet and I review it regularly. It keeps me focused on what really matters to me.

    Enjoy and share,
    Ronny

I”m a goals ‘talker’. Meaning I talk about goals I have but I tend to NOT write them down (sometimes I do but mostly I don’t) and then well I just forget about them. I’ve vowed that 2010 will be an AMAZING year and for me to be able to actually REACH the goals I keep talking about means I need to write them down.

Ok so all that rambling just to say that yes I will be writing down my goals and probably sharing them on my blog too :-)
