Some weeks I rock the networking scene without my work time being affected at all, other times well not so much, LOL. Do you use in the forums the link to bring you to the newest posts? I find that cuts down mine time looking through the forums. Do you avoid the games on FB or do you scroll back reading old updates? On twitter I use an add on from mozilla FF that sits on my open window in the corner. It updates every few minutes and I can work and glance to see if it's something I want to respond to, retweet or click on..can do it all from that box. There are some other nice twitter programs that can run while you work without having to be on site with it.
