Calling in Sick

Post Comment

Working odd hours because I can…the many perks of working from my home also comes with a downfall, I tend to keep pushing through pending illness…and usually wear myself so thin I get hit and hit hard. Although few and far between when it happens…it literally takes me out of commission for some time. I pushed myself so hard one year my bronchitis turned into pneumonia and I was severely sick for almost 4 months. I watched it better, slowed down more years following but still had a tendency to push myself during sickness a bit more than I should. Then I started eating right, started exercising and lost over 80 lbs. I felt AMAZING….only for a few chest colds in 3 years (all do to taking on more work than I should have) I felt better than I had in years. Since my move last year

Life of a WAHM Graphic Designer

Want to put it on your blog?

Oh to be me on any given day, I design and redesign my blogs often, I admit it I have a problem with changing my design with the mood of the moment in my life. I am currently coming out of a very long stretch of some very chaotic shit mess (I probably should watch my mouth on this blog).  I can not say we are in the clear here but things are certainly looking up. I don’t publicize my misfortunes for the whole WAHM world to see…on my personal blog I share glimpses of it when it bares to much weight but only there. I will not be going into it here on this blog either. Why? That’s where my personal blog comes in and that is where it should stay. Mentioning it here is essential, so people know why I have an obsession with redesigning my sites…LOL! I certainly can’t bring my mess into

The holidays are always a crunch and with our current incomes going towards are daily needs and our monthly obligations budgeting for the holidays can be a huge pain in the rear. Honestly can be down right stressful! Making some extra cash for the holidays without having to dip into your current income can alleviate the holidays woahs! I don’t advocate starting a business on every whim, for the simple fact I have buried myself before and failed myself doing so BUT the idea of a seasonal business to add to what your currently doing I am absolutely for! It’s not permanent and has many positives! The extra monies from a seasonal business venture added to what you are already doing is not only smart but it really tests your flexibility and breaks up the monotony in your current routine.
