Healthy Kids, Happy Kids – Experiencing the Kitchen With Your Kids

I’m really happy to see so many people in the kitchen these days. You know why? Because cooking is so much fun, fun, fun and it makes people happy! I feel so relaxed in the kitchen. When I was a little girl, I remember watching my grandmother in the kitchen. I saw how our family loved to come over for Sunday dinner to eat her food, and I decided that cooking was something I wanted to be able to do too. I watched everything she did, and of course she let me help in the kitchen. Of course little by little as I grew older, I began cooking by myself. I started with simple stuff like French toast, eggs, vegetable soups and stews. At first, chopping items was difficult until I created an easy technique for myself ; and getting the recipe just right or creating the perfect sauces and

52 to Fabulous

Not long ago, okay okay about 17 years ago we found out I was pregnant with our first child, all the joy in the world would not prepare me for my bodies changes there after. I never had issues prior to that with gaining weight, on the contrary I had a hard time gaining weight. With each child it seemed harder and harder to maintain my weight. It was as though each child took a bit more of my metabolism and left me fighting the weight beast. In 2004 I took it on head strong and fought back. I lost 75 lbs, felt and looked great. Last year I gained back 15-20 as it fluctuates and have not been able to get it off. I am in a size bigger of what I had maintained up to 2007, when I had our last child. So for this weeks 52 to Fab week topic I am glad to share as I need to! What I see is

What a Girl Needs @52toFabulous

52 to Fabulous

When it comes to needs, I really got to think about it long and hard. I look at a lot of things I think I need and invariably I actually don’t need much more than food, shelter and love from my family. However, to break out of that whole of only thinking bare minimum necessities, there are things I could definitely use that would make my business life a we bit easier. I need new graphic software, preferably the current editions adobe or paintshop. Also need the mouse pen graphics drawer if I want to create original art graphics. I need to dye my hair (I thought I would put this personal need in here just because LOL) I need a way to create multiple PDF files as I am currently putting together a eguide…you guessed it…about correspondence and plan many more focusing on this

What a Girl Wants

I don’t participate in many of the cross blog fun stuff such as meme’s and the like but every once in a while someone comes up with something I totally consider and a few I participate in. Well this 52 to Fabulous is one I rather dig. Although I wrote out and posted my goals, as well as have a nice written out long version and details, I think by participating in this I will be revisiting these goals throughout the year which will keep me more on track than I ever have been goal wise. This weeks Topic and luckily I am on board for the 1st week YAY, is What a Girl Wants! Although being a mother of 4 I don’t often think to much about my wants anymore, I so still want things. So I will give this a go and see what I come up with. Business I want to be known as the “Correspondence Queen”.
