So I don’t offer bubble gum WAHM designs, so what? That’s what custom ordering and supplying your own images for me to put together in a wonderful bubble gum wrapper is in place for. After running into a few of these deal breakers of the fear my stuff is too unwahm appearing…whatever that means and not fitting that cutesy style I honestly thought about adding this look to my parade of design themes. I thought about it, for about a minute before realizing “the HELL I ‘m gonna compromise”! I am an artist and I DO sell my designs. I also will create the look ANYONE wants as a custom design, so I am diverse. I just don’t HAVE to be NOR will I ever be like everyone else. Who I am is represented in my business and I am proud of it…I rather like that my personality pukes over through

Make Ahead Meals Part 2 I’ve discussed previously the term “Make Ahead Meals”and how cooking meals “ten at a time” saves both time and money, now I’m going to share some tips on both shopping and cooking those meals. If you shop the same day you plan to cook, it will save putting many groceries away. You can choose any day of the week that works best for you. My day is Saturday in the morning, kids and hubby are still asleep and this gives me some time to work in the kitchen. Pull any frozen foods that you need to thaw for cooking and place in the refrigerator. This can be done the evening before. Pull any items from your cupboards and group the ingredients for each recipe on your counter. Shopping and Cooking Tips By going to your “bulk” store first like Costco, you can get

I started my personal training business by training women in their homes. I loved this and still try to make housecalls here and there. one added benefit was teaching these women that they didn’t have an excuse not to workout because they didn’t have a full gym. Here are my top 3 reasons why I love body weight training. 1. Bone density. As women we have a big bone density issue. It’s a fact of nature. Body weight training helps to keep the bone density you have and even build it slightly. By putting the pressure and weight on your bones with squats, running, push ups and more, you are forcing the bones to work to become stronger. Remember our bodies are always striving to be stronger when we break parts down. 2. Body weight training is free. You don’t need an expensive

While as it states in the post it is to take one wall of your home and start there to organize it, I am going to take it much deeper and kinda off the home mentality subject and really dig in for a moment about the walls in yourself. I have decided to take this inwardly and organize the walls, if you will I have disorganized personally within myself. I am going to start with my scheduling wall. I schedule my work time and my family time….trying for that balance of work and home but completely forgot about me. In the winter I will admit I work more hours behind this screen. Even in my offline socialization I was limiting myself to things that we involve ourselves in such as our Pow Wow committee, as well as traveling with the Pow Wow drum Night Eagle. So yes, I socialize offline

I’ve lived all my life in the Pacific Northwest. Tons of my friends grew up skiing as we live less than an hour away from a world class resort. However, my first time ever up on the mountain was at the age of 28. This is even funnier because my husband grew up skiing at this same world class resort. I am afraid of heights and yet I took to snowboarding fast. I loved it. Now I am skiing instead, don’t ask about the injury that happened, everyone is tired of hearing about it. lol Last year was a long, hard winter here in the Seattle area. But my family and I didn’t even notice. We were too busy relishing the fact that the snow was kickin’ in the mountains and just waiting for M-Fri to get done so we could head back up. The winter went so fast. Previously, I would have

Make Ahead Meals Have you heard of the term “Make Ahead Meals”? (Often referred to as Power Cooking) Make Ahead Meals is a real solution for busy moms (and dads). You can make meals faster and it saves time! Cooking meals “ten at a time” saves both time and money. You’ll have way fewer trips to the grocery store. Even a “quick trip” is very time consuming, plus you’ll have fewer impulse purchases, which saves you money and did I mention how much money you’ll be saving on gas? Many of the time-consuming tasks can be combined on one day, making your dinner much easier and quicker for the next two weeks. Saving money by making dinner easier so you eat out (or pick up take-out) less often is a really BIG savings. Plus, as I mentioned in previous articles, dinner at home, around your
