I just read a recent hiring trend report from Elance.com hiring trends for February and found that article writing is one of the top 5 skills that businesses are outsourcing to freelancers. It’s really no surprise, especially since Elance caters mostly to online businesses. After all, what is the Internet made of? Images and WORDS and it’s those words that are crucially important. And believe me, most Internet marketers don’t have either the skill or the time to write – or both and that means a lucrative opportunity for people like you with some writing skills. But outside of article writing, there are other in-demand skills for online ghostwriting, such as copywriting, blogs, press releases, email marketing, white papers and more. This means less competition for you and more

Picture borrowed from LIALI Blog

Truly inspirational! I needed a boost because after my 4th child, I lost 3o lbs rather quickly but have gained 10 of it back. Prior to getting pregnant with her I had lost 65lbs in 9 months and kept it off for 2 years, doing exactly what Angie at Losing It and Loving It is doing in her life, slow and steady. I have that mentality but gaining the 10 lbs really was bumming me out…then I happened across her site Losing It and Loving It. You see Angie is an old internet buddy of mine and we met up again on My WAHM Space and I was browsing her page and found the site. My spark is back, my will renewed and it brang back the confidence I needed! Even though this site is based on weight loss and making healthier choices, it certain will inspire everyone to stay the course to obtain your

Craft Shows Pay and Stay

Note: This is an absolutely wonderful article for those who do craft shows/markets. This was my first year doing them. They have come to a close and I noticed that by staying the entire time I made a few more sales some days and most of the time it was because I was one of the few who started breaking down at close time and not before! If you pay for a table at a craft show, it only makes sense to show up. Sure things come up, but you should always try your best to make it. You should also try your best to stay for the entire show. Over the weekend we attended an outdoor craft show. Our instructions stated we were allowed to set up on Friday night, and stay as late as we wanted to Saturday evening. The schedule of events showed activities clear up to 10pm at night, so we knew we

I do believe the Search is Over

It’s one thing when you have this great idea for a site and find the perfect template for that said idea. For Eccentric WAHM I desperately needed a news style, or magazine style. I found so many ONLY to find out that the thumbnail script wasn’t working, none of the fixes worked and because I am hosting through a reseller, to get to the actual host I had not patience for. So I found something nice, again the features I needed were lost somewhere in the design and scripts and I was again frustrated. I did not let it stop the posting but I needed to find something that fit what was in my head, with what things I was going to post about. I all had to flow. The design, with the layout had to mesh with what I wanted. I think I am happy with current template, SAD thing is it was in the

Five Characteristics of a Good Bookkeeper

Post Comment

moms-talk-biz-bookkeeping-sm

Before we start talking about a bookkeeping business let’s distinguish between a bookkeeper and an accountant. A lot of people interchange the words bookkeeper and accountant often times not realizing they are two different things. In reality they are two very different things. For the most part a bookkeeper doesn’t have a college degree in accounting where as an accountant does. A bookkeeper does more basic type duties such as data entering. This can include things like creating and mailing invoices to the customer, entering bills, paying bills and processing payroll data. An accountant is going to handle the more detailed oriented type tasks. They will take care of handling expenses that have occurred but haven’t been entered by the bookkeeper. These entries will need to be

Post Comment

One of the biggest problems internet marketers face is getting traffic. So many people believe the myth ‘if you build it they will come’. Believe me, that’s far from the truth! Not only will you generate traffic writing articles is a great way to distinguish yourself as an expert in your niche. If you aren’t a great writer, don’t have the time to write or just simply don’t want to do it you can hire a ghost writer to do it for you. And of course there is always PLR (private label rights) as well. 2. Forum Marketing. Also known as message boards. This is another useful tactic in generating traffic to your site. A Virtual Assistant business can be the perfect way for a mom to stay at home with her kids but feel like she is providing to the family finances.
