The key is scheduling your networking time, it's easy to get sucked in so stick to schedule.

Do you use in the forums the link to bring you to the newest posts? I find that cuts down mine time looking through the forums.

Do you avoid the games on FB or do you scroll back reading old updates?

On twitter I use an add on from mozilla FF that sits on my open window in the corner. It updates every few minutes and I can work and glance to see if it's something I want to respond to, retweet or click on..can do it all from that box. There are some other nice twitter programs that can run while you work without having to be on site with it.

There is never a problem with networking as without it, it would not matter if you have a website to work on anyway...right? Maybe I will mock up my scheduled blog reading/networking time schedule that's been working pretty good for me...

I appreciate your thoughts :)

I am on many of those communities and find them both enjoyable and valuable. The problem is that I get so into reading the posts and networking/socializing that it becomes a vacuum sucking up my time...time I really need to be using to work on my website! LOL!

Loretta's been my buddy for so many years I don't even know when it started. She was in the first group of wahm's I met online and I was so lucky to meet her. I'm very happy to call her my friend and biz partner for some projects ;) She's awesome to bounce ideas back and forth with and gives me honesty.

I was blown away when she sent me a copy of the transcription crash course to review. She completely outdid herself on that and for anyone wanting to start transcribing it's a must read. She lays it out quick and to the point so you can get started as soon as your done reading. K, little commercial over.

Congrats Loretta and much deserved. xoxox
